December - New Year's Reorganization

Personal issues, procrastination and plain laziness has caused quite a while of 'downtime' on the maintenance of the community. But we're back to set the score straight with new updates and changes to our system wherever we saw the need for it.

Our MAL branch's front page has been redesigned to optimize use for future implementations. Also the banner of our blog (this one) has been redesigned; even though it's but a small change, it's still a change. There's a lot more work cut out for us but we hope we can bring them all to fruition soon enough as celebration for the New Year..!

To-Do List:

• The forums have been flooded with spam and is now subject to reorganization or a new fresh and clean slate if needed.
• The website is in drastic need of updates and might be subject to removal depending on what we think works best as sources for information. By removal; we imply changing it into nothing but a portal which redirects people to the the appropriate location(s).
• Gaming branch is going to be added as soon as we can, especially with some new upcoming games in 2011 for which we have planned to station ourselves on.
• New member cards are currently in development for the MAL branch; as the old system/cards are starting to clutter us from the rest of the tasks we have to do. One big change in the new cards as that we won't register the member's ID numbers anymore which makes it a lot easier to maintain.

In other news, Baka Nation will get an overhaul as well somewhere in between our tasks; but this heavily depends on MAL's decision regarding the lag issues and their solution. This is due to the fact that BN is an external aspect of Animeshin and without MAL ceases to exist.

Get Ready for the Launch

It's the morning of the 2nd of August, which means we'll be officially opening today. There's still a list of things we need to set straight in before the announcement goes out, so it probably won't be until later this evening.

As a reminder to myself and to update you on what still needs to be done; a list:

Forum Set-up
Arranging and creation of the forum layout and sections.

Finishing up GFX and whatnot for the first goal which is a rather easy achievable one.

The Final Countdown

Well, I finally managed to work up a new and custom layout for our blog; which is sort of an indication that we'll be opening our doors in the near future. Of course this also mean the opening of lots of other locations which we had reserved and are stationed on.
